The Summer Reading Program theme this year is "Read Beyond the Beaten Path." Be prepared to wander and explore natural things through some of our kids programs brought on by the Milwaukee Public Museum and the Wehr Nature Center! And get a camp-y experience through crafts, Library of Things camp gear, Vacation kits, and more! Come in on a hot or rainy Friday afternoon to watch favorite campy movies in the Community Room.
This summer we will be hosting more programs in our Maker Lab (yay!), as we roll out the new Smart Board to view craft tutorials. Adults can relive their childhood camp memories by making macrame keychains, stamp a leather bracelet, or weave a potholder in all kinds of colors. Teens can hang out in the Community Room and enjoy snacks while drawing on the Smart Board and listening to music. All thanks to the Friends of Cedarburg Library.
Registration begins June 11th - see us at Cedar Creek Park or in the library. Kids and teens will log their progress on logsheets while adults just fill out a "Patron Pick" form to enter into the weekly raffle. The summer reading programs will end on July 30, 2022 with a raffle drawing for each age category.
