September Sign-Up Month

 
To celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month, which is September, come see us at the Library and get YOUR new library card today! Or sign up online at getyourlibrarycard.org
 
During September Sign-Up, the library offers:
  • FREE replacement cards all month long if you have lost your original card (usually there is a fee to replace a card).
  • FREE merchandise from Monarch Library System, such as: pencils, pens, stickers, tote bags (while supplies last) for any patron who shows us they have downloaded the Monarch2Go app on their phone, or asks how to get it.
  • All NEW library card sign-ups will get a coupon for a free book from Buy the Book, our used book store here at the library.
Last Chance to Complete the Library Survey
We would love to hear from you! Please complete our library survey to let us know how we're doing. Each survey participant has a chance of being entered into a prize draw for a $20 Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. Survey ends next week on Sept. 3.

2024 Cedarburg Reads Book and Author...
 
Annelise Ryan's book Death in the Dark Woods is our 2024 Cedarburg Reads pick! The main event is on October 24 at the library with the author herself!
 
All September long we have Cedarburg Reads events, including book discussions and a Bigfoot Hunt in downtown Cedarburg. Also, our Cedarburg Writes contest is open now to participate in: the theme is spooky stories to go with Annelise's mystery. We have so much going on, so please see the full event schedule.

New Vinyl Record Collection Launches
The Cedarburg Public Library is making some noise with the launch of its brand-new vinyl record collection, now available for both in-library listening and checkout. Whether you’re a fan of classic rock, jazz, hip-hop, or even Taylor Swift, we’ve got a groove for you.

The library is also offering a turntable for checkout, so you can enjoy that warm analog sound from the comfort of your home. With a wide variety of genres available, there’s something for everyone.
