Library staff are busy reading Annelise Ryan's book Death in the Dark Woods: our 2024 Cedarburg Reads pick! Copies available at the circulation desk. Join us for the main event on October 24 at the library with the author herself. We have a lot of events and activities for this program, so please see the full schedule.

Used Book Sale
Cedarburg Friends of the Library's Fall Used Book Sale runs Monday, September 30 through Saturday, October 5, during library opening hours.
 
For sale: hard cover books, trade and paperbacks, puzzles, DVDs and CDs. You'll be amazed what interesting finds you can buy - at (mostly) only $1 a book!
 
If you have any donations for the sale, please drop off in the bins on the first floor of the library this week. All donations are tax-deductible.

Dine out & Do Good to Support Your Library!

Take the evening off of cooking and dine in or take out from New Fortune on Wednesday, October 9th.  
 
A portion of sales from this day will be donated back to the Cedarburg Friends of the Library.

Amish in Wisconsin

The Old Order Amish came from Ohio and arrived in southern Monroe County and northern Vernon County starting in 1966. They have grown to 300 families with a population of over 3,000.
