Are you a fan of the PBS show Finding Your Roots? There are opportunities at the library to dig into your own family history. Resources include a Genealogy Club that meets monthly both in the daytime and evening which you will find listed in our issue of Library Links. The library has a subscription to the popular database Ancestry on our public computers; access census records, family trees and more to make connections. BadgerLink is a statewide resource for school and public libraries and contains the database Heritage Quest, a powerful collection of records, city directories, and other tools for genealogical research. You can access BadgerLink remotely with your library card to use Heritage Quest and many other useful databases included there from auto repair to medical research to consumer reports and more! Stop in to see our helpful staff at the second floor info desk to get started on your family history journey or for more information on any of our databases.
