National Library Week (April 7-13) is a time to celebrate our nation's libraries, library workers' contributions and promote library use and support. In our always-online world, libraries give us a green light to something truly special: a place to connect with others, learn new skills, and be inspired through reading. At the library’s author talks, programs, and book clubs, we can connect with fellow enthusiasts and local experts while building relationships. No matter where you find yourself on the roadmap through life’s journey—preparing for a new career, launching a business, or raising a family—the library provides an inclusive and supportive community where everyone belongs.

The American Library Association (ALA) kicks off National Library Week with the release of its State of America's Libraries Report.

Share your library stories and memories! You can drop by on Monday, April 8 or Wednesday, April 10 in the morning to record your library memory with our very own StoryCorps DIY kit!

Donate and Drink! To celebrate National Library Week, we have a fundraiser organized by Cedarburg Friends of the Library at Handen Distillery on April 11. Join us for some fun and celebrate the library!
