Speak Up for Wisconsin Libraries
The Speak Up for Libraries campaign highlights the vital role libraries play in our communities. Libraries rely on federal funding to deliver critical services. But this funding is at risk—and we’re asking our patrons to help ensure it remains strong.

Wisconsin Libraries are inviting visitors to fill out postcards addressed to Wisconsin’s federal elected officials. Participating is easy: just stop by our library, write a quick note on one of the provided postcards, and drop it in the collection box.

The deadline is July 25.

New This Summer: Reading Dragons!
Running until the end of August, the Youth Services department has introduced Reading Dragons—a fun, optional, reading incentive program for school-age kids (ages 6–11), though teens are welcome to join the adventure too!

As kids complete extra reading goals, they can collect up to 9 different dragon-themed cards throughout the summer. It’s a light and exciting way to “level up” their reading while having fun.

Reading Dragons can be enjoyed alongside the main Summer Reading Program or as a standalone activity for those just eager to collect cards. Interested families should stop by the Youth Services Desk for more information or to participate.

Let the dragon quest begin!
