What does a hero look like to you? A firefighter? A teacher? A parent? A friend? Someone who made a difference in your life? Or maybe a completely fictional hero you create yourself? This year’s Cedarburg Writes Contest invites Ozaukee County writers of ALL ages to explore the theme HEROES through original fiction or nonfiction. Prizes:
• $50 — High School & Adult winners
• $25 — Grades 3–5 & Grades 6–8 winners Winning stories will also be featured in the News Graphic and on the Cedarburg Public Library website! Contest Rules:
• Open to all Ozaukee County residents
• Original fiction or nonfiction
• Must relate to the theme “Heroes”
• 1,000 words or less
• One entry per person
